About Keiko
Last updated: June 11, 2026
Keiko (稽古— "practice") is a Japanese typing tutor for English-speaking learners. The idea is simple: typing is the fastest way to turn passive recognition into active reading. Every drill shows you real Japanese — kana, kanji with furigana, full JLPT-level sentences — and your fingers do the memorizing.
What's inside
- 14 structured courses, from your first hiragana to JLPT N3.
- 600 JLPT sentences (N5–N3), 582 kanji with readings, verb conjugation, grammar patterns, and time & number drills.
- 18 free written guides on typing and learning Japanese.
- A learning method built around toggles: start with romaji and furigana on, switch them off as your reading gets real.
